Arraial / Fair

A Little Sissi vai estar presente no Arraial de S. João, no bairro de S. Lázaro, em Macau, entre o meio-dia e a meia-noite. este fim-de-semana (26 e 27 de Julho). Vai ser a última feira de Macau em que a pequena Sissi vai participar. A não perder!!

Little Sissi will be at the fair this weekend  (July 26-27) at S. Lazarus district from 12am to 12pm. It will be her last fair in Macau. Not to be missed!

Não é só com agulhas que trabalho, mas também com alicates. Nestes dois últimos dias decidi trabalhar o fio de metal e deu nisto.

I've gathered some fabrics' scraps and a lost ribbon...sew with a little needle...oh, I'm so patient, sometimes! This bag belongs to my personal collection...

Ultimamente ando mais virada para as agulhas. Há uns tecidos perdidos por casa e decidi fazer algo com eles. Nada de especial, até porque fazer tudo, tudinho, apenas com agulha, sem máquina de costura, custa!

Lately, I've been working mostly with needles. There are some fabrics lost in the house and I decided to do something with them. It's nothing special. Doing everything with needles only, without sewing machine, it's not easy!

Esta foi uma prenda especial para a Diana, a minha fã nº1 de Macau, no dia do seu aniversário. Ela ficou entusiasmada a ver e a participar na concepção de um colar, fazendo muitas perguntas. Claro que, no final, levou o colar para casa.

This was a special gift for Diana's birthday, my No. 1 fan in Macau. She was thrilled to watch and participate in the design of a necklace, asking many questions. Of course, in the end, she took the necklace home with her.

Hoje a primeira coisa que se poderá ouvir do outro lado da linha é "Onde estás?, mas antigamente ouvia-se simplesmente "Como estás?" Ainda me lembro de marcar os números no velho telefone e do som que fazia...

Na fotografia, um telemóvel desactualizado de mãos dadas com um telefone antigo!

Nowadays the first thing you may hear in the other side of the line is "Where are you?", but in the old times you just heard "How are you?". I still remember the sound of dialing the numbers in the old telephone...
